How much does a private GP appointment cost?
Published fees are £100 for phone or video consultations, £200 for a weekday Guildford clinic appointment and £250 for local home visits or weekend clinic appointments. Your individual fee is agreed in advance. Tests, medicines, travel or further appointments may cost extra.
Do I need to know which service to book?
No. Start with a call or WhatsApp message. A brief initial conversation to understand your needs and give you a fee quote is free. Dr M can help you decide which appointment is appropriate.
Can I see you at weekends or out of hours?
Appointments may be available by arrangement. Contact the practice to check availability and agree a fee. This is not an emergency service.
Can you help with prescriptions and referrals?
Dr M can consider prescriptions and specialist referrals after an appropriate assessment. A prescription is not guaranteed. Simple repeat prescriptions and straightforward referral assessments have separate fees; medicine and pharmacy costs are additional.
Where is the clinic, and do you make home visits?
The clinic is at Allen House Lodge, Allen House Grounds, Chertsey Street, Guildford, GU1 4HL. Home visits cover Woking and surrounding areas. Visits further away may be possible with an agreed travel charge.
Will my NHS GP be involved?
The patient form asks whether you permit Dr M to communicate with your NHS GP and access relevant records where necessary. You can decline, although this may limit some services. Discuss any questions with Dr M before your appointment.
